In the video you can see with smooth panning the mouse seems to jump forward a bit. Either that or it's freezing momentarily... Makes it impossible to play and is endlessly frustrating. I am using GoldSrc 2.1. Both -noforcemparms and -RInput are in the .bat so I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with mouse acceleration. I was watching the FPS in the top corner and it seems to be dipping for some reason and I think it may have something to do with the stuttering. It is set to fps_max 100 and my CPU is definitely not maxing out so I have no idea why that would be changing. I tried in windowed mode and I'm getting the same results.
This post seems to have the exact same issue I do but has no responses... https://www.speedrun.com/hl1/thread/1wxzv
having the same issue. My thought is because the game launch on a local server.. but i am npt sure. Trying to fix this atm
Hey qckdth. I tried this but unfortunately it did not work. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I had great success with allocating a specific core to half life (affinity), and moving other programms which use a lot of processing powers to the rest of the cores (chrome, obs, etc). I also set the process priority of half life to high. Havent had micro stutters since
