It's been about a year since SuperPlayer beat my time and I commend him for it. I've been running runs myself recently and have been watching the TAS speedrun on Youtube for some inspiration and possible new strats to further cut more time. Its possible to do the TAS wall jump that is done at Pilafs castle which can save about at most 7 secs if preformed correctly but is extreme difficult as I'm still trying to find a reliable setup for it. At the moment it's unfeasible to attempt. TAS also does L+R between sections and enemies and that helps get going after a forced fight sections as you can buffer a tap on the D pad to continue running. Another spot where its quicker is to simply fight without turning back for the full restore is vs Ninja Murasaki, either using whatever Ki you have left with L+R to each enemy individually or restore they ki so you can blast with 3 bars, hopefully avoiding the projectile spam. For me, if I get past this section at about 15mins (+-5secs) it would leave me at a possible time of 38.37, if I continue this pace with all my segments give or take +-5 secs, plus 3 segments where I have 15secs possible time save, time of 38.50 is possible but ending in 39.05 is more realistic because RNG. Been thinking of doing a Guide but I'm not sure if anyone wants.
38:50 is already doable without all those strats. If we want to do it consistently we have to find an RNG manip or how to manipulate the appearing of enemies on the autoscroller, or even more, finding RNG manip for the tournament and fights against Krilin, T-En, Gohan, taopaipai, and piccolo at the end.
If so, it’s obvious that we can down the time to 38 without TAS strats (my wr isn’t that optimised to be honnest)
