I've been comparing my recording to the WR, and I want to know how to get the game to speedup like that. I've timed it to be close to two times faster then the standard speed. Is there a glitch I'm missing when starting the game to get this started?
It's FPS related, if you get the game to a high enough FPS and the game will run significantly faster, This is why PC and Console are seperate categories.
I've turned down the graphics setting and I've managed to get it to max at 76 FPS running a GTX 1070. I've also run on another machine getting the same FPS, the environments looks faster but running speed is the same. Is there another setting I have to change?
As far as i am aware no, could be something else causing your FPS to be low but i have no idea what.
From this point forward, please make sure to use the load remover that is built into livesplit and make sure you display the timer on your video, if you don't then your run will be rejected. Under Edit Splits make sure you set your game name to "Cold Fear", you will then see the option "Load Removal
