Thought I might as well submit my PB of the full race, from the same video of the Best Lap record. Same old poor video and audio quality :)
Very slim chance at record with the Wii, but I may try whittling it down closer later.

Opening up to emulation starting with PCSX2 (can use in game Retroarchievements timer)
As of today, I will be permitting the use of PCSX2 emulation only for levels for the sake of testing and gathering further input on the topic. I have been using PCSX2 and I do believe it should be allowed with the luxuries that come with Retroarchievements. This allows a timer during levels, and
