Apparently you can do the cutscene skip with a controller holding down the A and B buttons similar to the keyboard method. It does however feel like the timing is a little tighter but does work on switch with both a pro controller and joycons. Tested it on steam with an xbox series x controller and it also worked just with slightly tighter timing. Kinda neat

Hey, first time coming back here in almost a year. I have been using this method since forever I just thought everyone knew about it lol. I've had the most success by just rapidly pressing A as the fade in for each of the Kiwi and Beeny slide in the cutscene but making sure to briefly pause on the black transition screen between fades.
