What are you using to capture your N64 output to your PC. I dont own a Tv that my N64 can plug into so I plan on playing from the capture window. Thats why Im looking for a good quality one since delay will be a problem. I know there will be some delay but Im trying to minimize it.
I personally use this really crappy 12 dollar one off of amazon. There is a pretty noticable ~.5 second sound delay, but no video delay. It's probably the cheapest one out there, but it gets the job done. Would reccomend getting a better one for sure though.
I use an avermedia live gamer 2 and my n64 is being upscaled through a retrotink 5x. This would get you very minimal delay but is an expensive setup. The best advice I could give is go to a thrift store and by a cheap working CRT or snag one from a friend/family member. It's going to have a better response time than any cheap capture card out on the market.
I bought the one Yopmemama2019 linked to and I must be pretty lucky because its working very well. Audio and video are sync up and the delay is very low. Doesnt feel worst than emulator input delay
