I'm currently working on a TAS of this game and I found you can press the reset level button before the Loading animation finishes to get control ~30 frames, or 1 second, early. So if anyone is still running this game, have fun with Free World records. I don't think any of the current WRs use this tech.

It's not fully done but everything else is just tas level tweaking. But maybe there could be some strats gleaned from this for RTA runs.

This TAS is really useful, the amount of time it cuts is exponential. I have a suggestion for you, I think you should apply to become a mod. I mostly only have expertise in act 1 so I think you should be a mod that can help with runs of the full game.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I don't really do rta runs, and don't have a desire for a position of power. I prefer to help find new ideas and info to then give to the professionals. That's one reason I prefer running TAS over RTA. I don't need proper skill, I can just take my time with the research, then post my findings.
