Oh boy here we go. So... yeah, I'm here to ask about implementing a method to get a rough estimate of an IGT time that all console players can use, and that makes a lot of sense in my mind. As the run has gotten faster and faster the load times have not, and the length of these times are really starting to get to me. Now, it isn't like having a shorter time on the leader-boards will change the fact that the run still takes ___ time to sit down and play... but it drives me nuts watching the timer count up as I haven't even started playing the level and I'm already 30 + seconds into my segment, knowing that it counts against me. I've mostly used myself as an example but I know it probably drives most console runners crazy as well. If there is any interest from the mods in hearing my idea please let me know and I'll post a comment in this thread explaining it. Otherwise I shall let this idea wither away into the endless Caco void... Thanks.
I agree, if pc doesn't count load times we shouldn't either. Sadly consoles have no way to time it. Some games have an igt with them like resident evil 2 or 3 but eternal has no such feature. Honestly we need to determine the shortest and longest load time for the fastest and slowest console loads and just take our igt and minus this to determine our true time.
If you would like to have IGT for console runs, please re-time your own runs.
A month ago, it was brought to our attention that the full collection of codexes, which is required for the campaign 100% and 100% Natural Masteries categories, is not possible with our current rules. For example, the extra lives tutorial codex cannot be acquired in the Ultra-Nightmare difficulty. T
