Aside from using the very rough and basic racenet "leaderboards" provided on the old dirtrallygame site, I didn't realize there was a small community over here on Speedrun.com that had both Dirt Rally games tracked. Was just curious if Pikes Peaks runs would be added or not as there seems to be none on the leaderboards (rather just not a blank space for the 12 total variants of the hillclimb that one could do in game to indicate they'd be accepted if sent in and approved) and just wanted to say hello as well if anyone still ventures around these parts anymore.
If anyone bothers to record a full run for it then I'll add a spot for it on the leaderboards.
is there any point in adding runs like pikes peak since the game has its own leaderboard? i doubt it has any cheaters
I'll leave my full run from both Twitch end of things and the video I did up in the following post but to address rowl's point, the racenet leaderboard within the dirtgame site isn't the most accurate anymore but it's still what I go off of. Aside from that, when looking through the ingame times that aren't counted by the racenet "leaderboard", there's about 50 to 60 cheated times that it doesn't count since they likely used the gravity mod/hack to get the times.
Link to the YT vid I've created of the run (Skip to 4:02 for the start of the run)
Link to the full stream of the runs that night (Run starts at 15:54, looking through the leaderboards in game to explain to chat why some aren't shown on the dirtgame sites "leaderboard" is at 52:42)
Just the highlight of the run
Apologies for not seeing this, was expecting to get notifications for any further replies on this thread. Category/s added now. Feel free to submit those runs now, vid still must have the car selection menu for category verification though, so the yt vid would need to be re-edited but the full twitch stream would be fine.
