How does evading work?

Sometimes the enemy evades my physical attacks. How does evading work?

My Kotemon with 123 speed had his normal attack dodged by Kunemon (48 speed).

I mean, how many points respect to enemy I required for inflict a guaranteed hit the enemy with normal physical attacks?

For physical its speed dependent, for magic its wisdom. For full info take a look at this file.

Thank you @markisha

For hit successful, the range must be 127 or 128 onwards? And the value is down rounded right?

Another question, about the additional crit rate, the guide says "2nd slot has priority", I don't understand since no digimon can equip both Saber Fang as Shuriken at same time.

yeah if range is 127+ you always hit, you can ignore the slot priority thing, and as for rounding, there is no rounding but it is all integer math so division is rounded in a sense

@markisha

I just found out something about evading magic attacks. Andromon (has 290 wisdom, 232 speed) and Hagurumon (has 280 wisdom, 336 speed)

I tested using Rising Fire against:

-Andromon

-Hagurumon (without using Speed Up himself)

-Hagurumon (he used 7 Speed Up)

Normally my Rising Fire hits 2 or 3 hits against Andromon, but against Hagurumon (no Speed Up) it hits 1 (rarely), 2 or 3 hits. When Hagurumon uses 7 Speed Up it hits 1 hit more frequently.

Following the magic attack formula the Speed does not intervene, but after doing these tests, it definitely should intervene.

I'm sorry to say this but I'm not buying it, the code reads as no speed influence, so maybe your test sample wasn't big enough
