pressing M once you die and start to fade but before the end screen appears puts you in a dead but invulnerable state where you can still collect diamonds - might be useful for 100% once i put up a proper proposal for it

This works for any menu button, including the on screen buttons. It also unfortunately does not seem to work on versions later than 1.16.
