100% Routing Considerations

The following outlines what all must be done in Detective Grimoire: Secret of the Swamp beyond the minimum required for an Any% run in order to complete the game 100%.

Location Notes and Additional Clues

Every location has notes to pick up that don't result in physical clues in your clue inventory. None of them are required for the Any% route, but they are all required for 100%. Additionally, some locations require picking up clues that are not required for the Any% route but are required for 100%.

The following must be noted at the area by the front gate:

The Boggy statue
The head photo booth
The gate itself

The following must be noted at the crossroads:

The base of the tree
The hollow of the tree

The path leading to the office must be noted at the clearing.

The following must be noted and picked up outside the office:

The window with the torn curtain
The footprints leading to/from the office
The flippers in the reeds

The following must be noted at the area of the protest:

The flower petals on the path
The tent set up by Echo
The journal inside the tent (after opening the tent with 1934)

The wagon must be noted for the gift shop, and the following must be noted and picked up from said wagon:

The Boggy dolls
The Boggy hats

The following must be noted from the café area:

The shipwreck
The door to the café storage room

The following must be noted outside the museum:

The flowers by the window
The wooden stilts holding up the museum

The following must be noted and picked up inside the museum:

The plaque under the explorer's journal
The drawing of the museum on the back wall
The "Another..." title on the cartoon poster
The back door to the museum
The fake gloves on the claw display

The backwater area is skipped entirely in Any% but must be traversed in 100%, with the following noted:

The clear water
The footprints in the water

The treehouse must be noted along the bridge in the forest.

The following must be noted inside the treehouse:

The bed
The yarn and needles
The flower book on the table

Additional Character Interactions

Most characters require presenting clues and profiles not needed for Any% in order to complete the game 100%. The only exception to this requirement is Van de Peer, who yields no further information from any additional interactions.

Burle must be presented with the Bog Dog obtained from Harper.

Folder must be presented with the profile of Echo and the following clues:
