From viewing the King fights from the top runs, they only do a Kris-Susie joint FIGHT, leaving out Ralsei, once, near the beginning. After that, either all three attack, or Kris and Susie ACT to use Red Buster while Ralsei DEFENDs.
So I wondered: since DEFENDing gives the team a 16% TP boost, would it potentially be worth it to only DEFEND with Ralsei in the King fight? Or would Ralsei's damage output be worth it?
Or does it depend on how good you are at gathering TP?
A lot of research has been made on the fight, there is a spreadsheet somewhere in the discord server that shows a lot of different strategies. The current strats used by the top runners are the best people found. There is an advanced strat that involves Ralsei defending a bit more (iirc) that is probably done by nhaar. No, you only need TP for Red Busters, and having Ralsei defend every turn wouldn't get you enough for an extra one, so you would just end up not doing enough damage.
no one should ever defend in the kings fight if you perfect hit every time with every one and use RED BUSTER everytime it should be the best result time ^^
