Lucha_Gym xenkaroshi I attempted to replicate this glitch for several hours, and here are my findings:

Pausing while an enemy is taking damage / hyde is taking damage makes the game act strange Sprites will temporarily mess up if the (i dont know the names of the things, so i am making them up) goblin baby ?? transforms into an adult creature while the other thing stands there, if you kill the goblin mid transform that might be a viable approach to fully replicating this glitch. other than this I think it might just be an error with the cartridge tbh.

Also: If you pause and unpause repeatedly before dying, you can avoid death as long as you dont take more damage and dont stay unpaused for longer than 1-2 seconds.

The only solution I have in mind would to be purchasing another switch.

I'm not sure if it would work, but if you bought another copy of the game in physical form, you might be able to have other save data? Other than that, the only solution I know is getting another switch.

The tarantula strat is a bit too time consuming, and RNG based. If anything we should find a strat that has a 75-80 percent chance of working, and a safe route that has a 100 percent success rate. The turnips I don't think would be a reliable strat either.

A run was put out an hour ago by user p4ntz on youtube, their final time being 1:52:14. Category being all debts. They had a well planned route, but I think I know a way to optimize it, however I don’t know if it would be practical. If you log in to the terminal in the plaza, you have a prompt with bonus miles. This prompt takes 3-4 seconds per time logging in, and racks up time when using the ABD machine to pay off loans. If before payments you were to go on a day directly after the previous, and save and quit, you go to the day after as you break your streak. This will give you the day one miles instead of a streak, displaying less characters and numbers. Over the course of the run, this could save a great deal of time. Anyone else have any other ideas for time saves over the course of his run? Link is here:
