So when you get to the first ring, should I be throwing an eye of ender every 100 blocks or so? What is the ideal distance to travel before throwing another eye? And obviously i know to throw an eye before traveling into the ocean, or before a mountainous biome, etc.
Update. I tried changing my keybinds and I think I kind of like them. I changed them to: 1, 2, 3, 4, z, x, c, mouse5, mouse4. I was laying in bed when I asked this question, and then I thought to myself: "Wait, I don't even use z, x, or c." So I hopped on to try it, and it actually feels really comfortable and smooth.
I currently use my scroll wheel for half of my hotbar. How do people use a keybind for every key? What keybinds do you guys use? All of my controls are default except I have 3rd person set to r and the 9th hotbar slot set to mouse4 because I like to put my building blocks there.
@Cubing_Cinematics oh that's good. I'm upset that it didn't record the audio, but I'm just happy to have a new PB.
I just got a PB, and when looking back at the video, I noticed that OBS didn't record any audio. When I looked at the audio settings, both desktop audio 1 and 2 said "Device not connected or not available". I opened the drop down tab and selected my headset, and when testing, it worked just fine again. OBS took a shit or something and decided to just remove the audio devices I had selected I guess. Thanks for the help!
I also spent too much time managing my inventory. I stopped trying to organize my inventory as much and started only focusing on organizing my hotbar. The only 2 times I really mess with my inventory is when I'm doing gold trades or when I need room in my inventory to create beds for the ender dragon. But like the other people said, it's just doing it over and over again.
@GeloTheGreatest thanks for the video.
Sometimes I come across fortresses that seem to be right in the middle of 2 quadrants and I can't tell what quadrant it's in. What part of the fortress would be the middle, or how could you tell what quadrant it's in?
OBS and livesplit is very straight forward to setup. I would launch OBS, configure the settings for recording, and then I would add only 2 sources. A window capture source to capture the livesplit timer, and a game capture source to captutre minecraft. Once you have that setup and positioned the way you want it in OBS, I would then launch livesplit and turn on auto splitter or add start/split and reset global hotkeys. I use the auto splitter myself. The autosplitter automatically starts the timer when the world is loaded, and makes the splits for you when entering the nether, etc. Hope this helps.
@Merl_ Thats exactly what I thought happened. Nothing against him.
@YoloMenace001 I literally only asked if all 3 will be verified, or just the newest one since I have 3 pending. I didn't ask when they will be verified. I know it takes up to 3 weeks. Chill.
I currently have 3 rsg 1.16 runs pending verification. I have 3 runs pending because I have gotten a PB and submitted it twice before the first one has gotten verified. Will they verify all 3 runs, or will they only verify my current PB. I know they have a lot of runs to verify right now, and it's fine if they only verify my newest submitted run, but it would also be nice to see all of my runs on my profile. Thanks for the help!
These things happen. I assume that as long as the video is clear and there is no reason to suspect anything, then you should be fine. Maybe if it was a world record run there would be something to say, or something to look into, but if you accidently clicked main menu on your 30 minute run and rejoined the game, then you should be fine.
I was messing around with it and rely trying to understand what he meant. I figured that it what you would do. I couldn't get it to work because I'm slow as fuck. Thanks for the video!
So I'm trying to do this and when you said "shift click hotkey shift click" it didn't help me. Mind explaining a little better for me? I would appreciate it. I would look it up, but 1. I don't even know what to look up and 2. All I have been getting is videos explaining the simple shift click to move items. Thanks!
Yeah I get that, I just wanted to know the best cords in the nether to get to the stronghold the quickest. So, why is around 220 the best? Wouldn't somewhere around 250 be better? 250 in the nether would be the halfway point between the first ring of strong holds at 2,000 from 0,0.
@WwFour so I should never blind when |x| + |z| > 300? Meaning that I should blind at around 150, 150 or 200, 100, etc?
I usually look to built my portal around 150-250 (x, z, or both: (150, 0), (0, 150), (150, 150), etc.), but is there a better place to blind at?
This video was under the guide section on the left. I haven't watched it, but it should be what you are looking for.
