You can throw the Moon Lantern to the bridge and crouch to pick it up (this has some rng with being spotted but is pretty fast)
If youre interested in a more consistent casual method just drag the Moon Lantern into the rotted basket next to Kar'niss and wait for him to leave, then crouch as to not get seen by the Hyena when you pick it up
weve talked about it but its not really doable in one playthrough due to all the questlines that are mutually exclusive to eachother so well have to see what becomes of completionist categories like that… in the meantime ive been doing a bit of routing for honour mode all bosses (any enemy with a legendary action) but its still a long ways out from being a category and not my main focus atm
technically theyre not glitchless because of oubliette skip and debatably the sequence breaks
there's been some discussions on a glitchless ruleset but nothing has been concrete, probably wont be too long though
My runs are def beatable and I'd like some competition so I'm gonna wait for someone else to pick up the game before I run anymore, here's (mostly accurate) tutorials for every category. May the good blood guide your way :D

Cleric Beast has been plagued with Infinite Sword Glitch for no dev room runs and the insanely difficult to replicate geometry manipulation for dev room runs but a new strategy which is at par with and possibly faster than geometry manipulation has been found to be easily replicatable, essentially pushing the biggest run killer in All Bosses out of the way and eliminating the need for Infinite Sword Glitch in the Cleric Beast fight.
All you must do to instakill the Cleric Beast is immediately run to the statue in the video below and roll into it repeatedly until the Cleric Beast either a) lunges over the wall into the abyss or b) jumps into the air and returns on the outside of the wall I will be attempting runs until I break both WR's for the next 24 hours or so, this discovery should make it pretty trivial tbh, hopefully I see some new names on those boards as result of this post though!

So after a bit of further research the reason that the Winter Lantern isn't included in all bosses is due to the fact that there are at minimum two of them, one of which isn't easily killable. The Winter Lantern in question can be encountered in several locations but most easily after killing Gascoigne.
While the other Lantern located in Gilbert's Estate can be one-shot using the chandelier the Gascoigne Lantern would require about 20 minutes to kill, given that it has 99,999 hp.
There is an exploit that simplifies this process by getting the Lantern stuck on a wall EXAMPLE ) but it would be rather repetitive for the run and as such the boss was just entirely excluded from the rules.
As an aside they aren't traditionally considered bosses in the original game and also do not have a proper boss health bar despite being the highest hp enemies. However, if there's interest in a proper All Bosses category incorporating the Lanterns I will create a new updated category. (it would also be interesting if we found a faster way to kill the Gascoigne Lantern).
Thank you for posting this thread I wasn't aware of this! I only recently inherited the moderator position after the previous mod left the game inactive for about 4 months so any weird discrepancies are just due to loose moderation. I'll take a look at everything today though and make some changes! If you've got any more concerns or recommendations just let me know.
