Secondary question, would the upgrade tokens you can only use at the bar count as an item since it doesn't affect your run (at least in the moment that it is collected)?

Hey, before I start, I am still rather new to speedrunning this game (and the game in general, if I'm real).

What would be considered not allowed to be picked up? Is it everything that drops onto the ground (minus coins), or are there exeptions to it (shields, hearts, eggs, etc.)?

This may seem stupid, but I attempted to speedrun it today and had a few difficulties with not knowing what was allowed or not. Thanks!
