Welcome to the site! And also don't be suicidal. You have a world record.
And correct me if I'm wrong, if one wants to submit to a marathon, one should go to "Forums" and to some of the threads in the "marathons" section, right?
Not exactly. Usually there is a submission page that you can go to to if you want to submit. ESA 2017 had this thread (but don't submit because it's over) for their event. While it was on the forums, submissions were handled via a Google Doc, instead of saying "I will run this game" in the forums.
Being new to the site and not knowing the UI is standard. It's not your fault, and asking questions is definitely the way to go about it, no matter how trivial it may be.
By "marathon", emeraldaly means something like SGDQ/AGDQ/ESA/etc. The game would be...well it would be the game that you are submitting to the marathon.
For example:
- A runner I watch named Drakodan submits his game (Undertale) to the marathon (SGDQ).
Emerald wants to know if there was a specific marathon that you were thinking of submitting to or learning more about, I assume to direct you to the proper web address.
I guess I'll get my points in civilly while this thread still exists.
Socialism is one step above communism. Venezuela is socialist. If you look at what they're going through then you'll socialism is not the way to go.
If it's a good quote, does it matter who spoke it?
But he's talking about socialism. Which is bad in its own right.
In the (probale) words of the late, great, Charles Manson, "Sharon Tate is pretty."

You probably submitted Necropolis right before the rounds were made. Game requests usually take about 2 weeks to be approved. Maybe wait another week for a response.
Velocinator (the mod of Table Tennis) is pretty active online, if you send him a Discord message he will most likely answer there.

SpiderSponge87, can you please stop putting exclamation points at the end of your sentences? It comes across as you're yelling at people.
Firstly, NO GAME NO LIFE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA COUGH COUGH
Is that a good scream or a bad scream? :D
Better late than never I guess.
This was the second ESA that I viewed, and it was pretty amazing. I don't have a lot to say, but here's a few notable things:
- The second stream idea was a pretty nice change.
- Chat was really nice.
- The donation tracker didn't work for part of the event I guess, which sucks, but I guess it was on Paypal's end?
One complaint I do have is the official schedule. The times adapted to my local time zone (9 hours behind ESA time), but the days did not. I would recommend using Horaro, as everything adapts to your local time. The schedule actually caused me to miss a run because I read the schedule as it was on Monday, when it was actually on Sunday.
Other than that, amazing event and I can't wait for next year!
So it just means the coding is playing favorites...it all makes sense now.....
Or you can just follow this post. https://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/qkvjz
I should probably add that the only way a mod can delete it is by deleting each post of the thread. I don't think that it's possible to delete entire threads at once.
