Aight, I've read through this thread and what has been said on discord. I'll try make a mock-up of some new and improved rules for every category, based on your suggestions, and pass it on to SilverMan to see what he thinks.
For "out of bounds" runs, the timer starts when the level loads in, and stops when you get inside the room behind the door
No, you're not allowed to have the rock clicked before starting the run
If SilverMan doesn't agree with this then I don't know what to say man
And technically speaking, going "in" the hole matters just as little as being over it, and at the same time it's basically the same thing
Yeah, because if a door was there, that point would count as going past it, so...
I'm gonna reupload ALL of my old runs (within the current rules and with correct dates) as an attempt to restore/preserve some history for this game :3
Yipee! Don't worry about it, it's okay :3
Yeah, we can resend the runs (if they follow the rules), but they won't be accepted for a bit as previously stated
All I hope for is for this rule change to be reverted
It's fine lol
Yeah it was good.
But to stay on topic, I think trashing a bunch of good runs for not "jumping into the hole" is stupid and a bad moderation decision
Yeah, I feel like level 9 should be fixed so that you have to get into the big pumpkin at the end, but the other levels untouched with how you finish them
Like, what counts as into hole? All the way down, just getting your head into it? It's not explained. Does the timer keep going until you get into it?
I think that the runs should start as soon as you exit the safe zone and end as soon as you get your head past the door to the exit room/area
I feel like just getting past the door is enough for it to count as being beaten
I think it's a pretty useless rule, since you technically beat the level when you enter the room at the end of it.
To be honest, I think this one is legit. All the sounds are as they should be, and you can see other people there. Plus, the door does open that fast
