I just picked up this game (yes, legit copy) and started casually playing, I found that for example 6 die battle would be an interesting speedrun, though obviously RNG-heavy.
Also, I suck at puzzles so I won't be doing 100 puzzles anytime soon lol
Easy, Regular and Evil! obsolete each other. They do have slight differences, such as increased objects and AI difficulty as you go to a higher difficulty but the differences are so small I chose not to separate them.
So, if you manage to beat someone's time with a harder difficulty, the bragging rights are yours ;)
P.S. Choosing Evil! is actually a good benchmark to see if you're doing good or bad, as you need to perform almost perfectly to win.
Note that there was no wumpa, however, it could've been the exact spot where it would normally be.
I'm still thinking whether or not there's one...I first thought low% would be getting all the Photo OPs (literally all), but after trying it out a few times sometimes it's simply impossible as an opponent might beat you to it.
Low% could be to complete the Gulch level as it's not mandatory, in any% you can just commit suicide and carry on to Nuke York. But then again it wouldn't be a significant difference to any%, so maybe there's no valid low%. Alternatively you could be forced to get just one Photo OP per level, so you'd still have a chance.
So...still under works.
Hello guys!
You might know about this game or might not, in which case I won't blame you. Exhumed a.k.a Powerslave is a real classic, using an engine similar to Build.
I'm speedrunning this and got the game accepted on speedrun.com, thus being its moderator.
P.S. Those seeing this message right now, I'm streaming! I won't guarantee things end well though.
Hello, I just donated 1€ for the site, but since it hasn't been told how to prove you're the one, shall I contact an admin and show them the confirmation code or something?
Cheers
Hey ya'll.
Not much to know about me, I'm just a Finnish person whose passion is motorsports, and ever since I was 6 or so I played GT2. It's my childhood game. That got me into speedrunning just recently (though I'm not sure if I will try any other game anytime soon), but nevertheless, I'm pleased to announce my efforts already paid off, my second ever attempt at GT2 speedrunning turned out to be the new world record (sadly I can't upload the video proof yet as my upload sucks, but I'll get a faster connection early next year so I can begin streaming as well).
Looking forward to busting my own record. This one was quite clumsy still.
