Just added you as a moderator. I added the quest 2 and 3 as supported platforms and also changed the discord link to a permanent invite to compound's discord which is run by the dev, feel free to message them there if you have any questions, they're cool. Try not to make any drastic changes to the board layout unless you know what you're doing. The ui of src and the variable system has always been kind of jank and it's easy to break things. Adding new categories and verifying runs is pretty straight forward but dm me if you have any issues and I'll respond eventually.

The leaderboard uses the in game timer. If the time is displayed at the end of the run in game it's probably valid. I don't know if quest has a setting to enable the timer during the run but it helps verify runs aren't splice. Another reason the in game timer is used is because it removes loads so people running on different hardware are on an even playing field. Doing load removal by hand after the run is annoying and prone to errors.

I know for PC there is a settings file you have to open and edit in order to enable the speedrun timer to be displayed during the run. Hopefully it's possible to enable that somehow on the quest version. If not you should ping the dev in their discord to see if they can add a setting in game. If you submit a run on quest that shows everything (recording starts in lobby, run happens where time is shown at end) then it'll probs get approved. This game isn't the most popular to speedrun so most runs will get approved.

1. To activate the speedrun timer display, open the config file located at C:\Users[username]\AppData\Local\COMPOUND\config_2.cfg and change "ShowSpeedrunTimer False" to "ShowSpeedrunTimer True".

2. You can set a specific seed using the leaderboard console in the HQ

3. "Legacy editions" of the game are just really old versions of the game that did not have all of the levels yet (the game was released in early access so not all content was made at the time). I think you can switch the version of your game in steam by right clicking COMPOUND in your library going to "Properties...->Betas" but I haven't tried so I don't know if it works.

Yea I wasn't sure if each one should just be added or not, I feel like bow would be a good one but ones like extra arms doesn't seem unique enough (maybe I'm wrong though). I'm not opposed to doing combo's of mutators for a category idea either, I just want to avoid having too many categories that nobody runs. Of the 5 remaining mutators not currently on the board we have:

• Old Schooler
• Bow
• Extra Arms
• Gun Magnet
• People Populator

I think Bow sounds the most interesting and Old Schooler being second most. I'm not sure the about the other 3 though.

Please post any new category suggestions here or general feedback regarding how the leader board operates.

PLEASE NOTE: Adding a new category to this game is unique in that it can add several subcategories with it (Random/Set Seed, Easy/Medium/Hard/Spicy?). Please be specific when suggesting a new category and include what subcategories/rules you want to see with it.
