Thanks I really appreciate it! I have added you now. I have set some things up, but any help would be awesome!
The primary game mode I play the "National Battle" game mode. However, as of July 2016 I have also begun playing the single player mode titled "Grand Prix." All machines around the world have the single player version, in some form, however, it varies on location. For example, the Japanese version has you battle it out starting from 50cc to work your way (once cleared) through 100cc and finally 150cc. Now a Japanese cabinet exclusive is "National Battle."
What is National Battle?
National Battle – This game mode is exclusive for the Japanese version. Basically it pits racers against other people around Japan. You start at the “bottom” (Okinawa) and work your way through all the prefectures of Japan (its 47, but for the game they separate a few to make it 50). It matches people of equal skill to battle it out.
1st place finish gives you 100 points which clears that prefecture. 2nd place finish gives you 50 points. 3rd place finish gives you 40 points. 4th place finish gives you 30 points.
Note: You need 100 points to clear any prefecture / area.
If you are able to clear all 50 areas / prefectures then you are given a congrats screen and unlock a secret kart. There are 3 secret karts you can unlock this way.
Occasionally, you will be challenged to a one-one battle with a tougher opponent. They pick the track and everything. If you win, you get to choose from 3 chests which each have a different coin prize.
Ranking system:
10-1 Bronze¤
1-5 Silver¤
6-15 Gold¤
16-20 Rainbow¤ Current level 20 Rainbow!
¤¤Note: I am fairly sure this was the leveling scheme (I am Positive for silver+ its accurate).
My current record as of 9/20/2016 for National Battle is:
1st place finishes: 236
2nd place finishes: 19
3rd place finishes: 4
4th place finishes: 1
90.7% of the time I got first place.
I have "cleared" the Japan map five times now!
Total: 260 games. = $260 bucks.

I look forward to adding more to this section, and hearing from fellow gamers! Cheers!
Thanks for the reply! It's unfortunate that the game can so rarely be found overseas, (In America, I believe its only at an Arcade center called "Dave and Busters" but even then, its not always there).
I took your advice and put in a request. Thanks! I can't believe i am up to 103 episodes (its nearly 7 hours of gameplay) but I am looking forward to adding to this number going forward. It really is a blast to play.
Cheers!

Playlist including all current and future Mario Kart vids, enjoy!
Hello! So I made an introduction a week or so ago, and finally got around to making my first video. For those who didn't see it, I live in Japan and have recently been getting really into Mario Kart Arcade GP DX.
I plan to make a complete introduction video to the system in question, as there are quite a few differences between the International counterpart.
It's not perfect, but I am working on trying to make it even better for future videos. I plan to update this thread will all future videos etc.
Some ideas I have for future videos are:
-
How long can I keep a first place streak going?
-
trying to keep it interesting by letting a dice pic which specials I use. (note: In the Japanese version you get to choose the specials etc as well as vehicles as you unlock them, unlike the International version where its all randomized).
-
Use no items.
I am still thinking about other stuff to keep it interesting.
If you have any suggestions, regarding the system, suggestions, advice, anything is appreciated.
I exclusively place the "National Battle" game mode. Some information I have written below. Some are straight from the wiki + a bit more.

1-20 Rainbow¤ My current level is 16 Rainbow!
¤¤Note: I don't remember exactly the leveling scheme, I wish I wrote it down. The colors are accurate though. Each level you need more and more points. Right now I need about 250 points give or take per level. From what I have seen, when you get into rainbow, you need more than 400 points per level.. Which in dollars = like 30 bucks or so.. so its not cheap... (that is assuming one wins first place a lot due to more points given per level). I will check around and possibly make a fresh account to give you guys an accurate ranking info.
My current record as of 7/6/2016
1st place finishes: 155
2nd place finishes: 11
3rd place finishes: 3
4th place finishes: 1
I have "cleared" Japan three times, I am working on my fourth try now.
Total: 168 games. = $168 bucks.
