I understand that any rules are debatable, but I still don't find it great that “glitchless” runs finish by one-shotting Jaffar after deactivating him. Was this exploit only discovered after the formalization of the NMG rules and therefore not covered? Or was it known already and considered acceptable?

A lot of levels have very suboptimal times at present. In some of them I posted records showing some new techniques, in this one instead I just did a marginal improvement, so I don't mind much if it gets heavily beaten.
