How about mine a chunk, all you have to do is dig a 16x16 square down to bedrock.
You have taken the only thing that I care about, how dare you Danny, how, dare you.
Strongholds also only spawn with higher cords, 550,10,0 for instance, your x or z coordinate have to be at least 550 for a stronghold to spawn, the prime cords though are typically 1000-1500. I hope that makes sense.
The best thing to do for all discs is to make sure your simulation chunks is as low as it can be. But I feel like reloading the world would be fine, but I think the low simulation chunks is still a better idea.
So there are four quadrants, pos pos, pos neg, neg neg, and neg pos. So pos pos for instance, your coordinates would be like 100 100, or neg pos coordinates would be -100 100. Either a bastion or fortress can spawn in any of these quadrants, but ther can’t be more than one structure in each of quadrant. But after I think exceeding 500ish blocks in one quadrant, structures can spawn again, so if you find a bastion in -100 100, you could go -700 100, and find another structure. I hope that makes sense lol.
For your first question, no there isn’t really any way to find fortresses or bastions other than running around in the four different quadrants. And for your second questions, villages in the 1000-1500 have the highest chance of having a stronghold underneath, I think. But you are never guaranteed to find one.
It has already been stated in threads in Unofficial Category Extensions that it will not become a category.
If you want mod you have to be a community member not some random person who ran a random game.
This kinda of idea would go to the Unofficial Category Extensions. There’s a forum there dedicated to new category ideas. So I suggest taking your idea there
It isn’t on there sadly, maybe dm a moderator about it and ask them.
