The same way the WR has been improved previously; routing changes and movement improvement. 11 shine Fury 1 is indication that routing and movement can definitely still be pushed further. The future is still bright for improvements, though they're gonna be slower for sure.
We have added awhile ago a Digital/Physical selector when submitting runs with the hope for Runners to self-moderate and select the correct option for the copy they're playing on.
This allows players on Physical to be able to compete on a more equal playing field with other Physical players, while still being able to compare against Digital runners to see where their runs would be more likely to be after subtracting the load times.
An Auto-Splitter that pauses for loading may be an option in the future, but that would not be for a long time.
Most of that video is just 90s Wall-Kicks, which is typically used in Itemless and only in a couple places.
The furthest you can play in the game without collecting stars is 7-7, and you can't even beat all the levels up to 7-7 because there are a handful that need stars to be collected to unlock. IL-based categories also aren't high on the list of possible categories. Also, please do not recommend category extensions on this board, put them on the category extension forum.
Please recommend category extensions on the Category Extension forums. Also, please specify what game you're suggesting the CE for.
There are hundreds of glitches in Bowser's Fury alone, and they don't link together in an interesting way for a speedrun. Plus, a lot of them are very finnicky and take a long time to get to work, which would make this a bad speedrun.
Again, the shine count seems kind of arbitrary. Is there a good reason for why you'd only collect 75 shines?
Category Extensions that are just "RTA to [arbitrary stopping point]" don't really work well unless there's a good definitive reason to end it at the stopping point. 2/5th of the way finished through an Any% route isn't really a justifiable stop.
The category seems fun but the meme behind it seems too fleeting to make a good meme category for the boards.
The shine count seems arbitrary, is there any point behind collecting exactly 65 shines?
Bowser's Fury Multiplayer was originally on the Category Extensions board, but it doesn't support online, so it was pulled from the boards as it's a category that has minimal interest and even less ability to be run.
I like the idea, it'll just be a lot of maintenance to import all the levels if only a few are going to get run. If we can gauge enough interest, it'll be considered.
Bowser's Fury Damageless could work as a category, as a lot of the speedrun strats tend to have unavoidable damage if you mess them up, meaning avoiding damage does add a lot of depth to movement. But, it'll need more runners than just Fir_ who did it as a challenge run, not as a speedrun.
Low% beats the game with 40 shines instead of 50, as picking up a shine while Bowser is out damages Bowser, which if you do often enough, skips the 50 shine Bowser fight. Amiibo runs already do this by spawning Bowser as needed, but Low% No Amiibo does this by just waiting for Bowser spawning.
