For the sake of futureproofing I'll always be against allowing glitches
Good shit, I messed around on that balcony a while ago but couldn't find any way to use it to get OOB, glad there is still new stuff to find
Kuno has started a COD speedrun marathon. All info can be found here: https://www.speedrun.com/codathon or in the Discord (https://discord.gg/8DJKQtX).
Nevermind I figured out how to fix it myself
I accidentally submitted my run as 25ms instead of 250ms, can a mod fix it pls

I'm shit but I would play anyway (as long as I don't forget about this)
Yeah, I don't think we should remove anyone's runs unless they're cheaters. Just because they're banned from the site, doesn't mean their run didn't happen.
Here are the differences btw:
-
Semper Fi: The "you like that, you piece of shit" thing doesn't happen and the door doesn't open, so you can save like... not even a second, because you take a more direct line instead of having to move out of the way of the Japanese guy.
-
Their Land, Their Blood: The opening cutscene is removed, and you start outside the building.
-
Eviction: The Nazi begging for mercy isn't there, so your comrades will follow you sooner, I guess? Also, the Nazis at the entrance to the subway aren't there, so you save a very small amount of time not having to kill them.
The biggest difference is the massive timesave in Their Land, Their Blood.
Also, it's worth noting that Nazi Zombies is completely removed, so make a backup of the game if you like to play it so you can just rename the installation folder to swap between the English and German versions without re-downloading multiple gigs. (Although I don't know if custom zombies maps work.)
You can probably just resubmit it with the new timing method and the new mods will probably accept it again. I think if they deny it they'll say why.
(Also, in my opinion, rule changes should remove old runs that break those rules from the leaderboard, even if they were legal when the run was submitted. Or at least moved to a "legacy" leaderboard category.)
Hmm, yeah, I think some have gone missing. I swear I remember getting knocked into 4th place not too long ago, but now I'm 3rd.
Having a controller plugged in while you play (even if you don't actually use it) fixes the problem for lots of people, myself included, without the use of any compatibility modes or affinities.
I don't think this should be a main category, and I think a few people would argue that it shouldn't even be on the category extensions page. It's just too ridiculously long to ever do. Even without the Ace pilot ranking, it would still probably take hundreds of hours.
Your list excludes a few goals due to you describing them as "arbitrary", which in itself is arbitrary. I would argue that the triple insane stunt would be required for "true 100%+", because it's the highest stat that can be recorded. Two more examples of this are the Ace ranking and the King of San Andreas status; just because they take ages, doesn't mean they should be excluded - you get what you ask for in such a long run.
(Also, side note, the Ace pilot ranking has consistency, but it just doesn't look like it. Here's how it actually works: https://pastebin.com/MGSTfgrS .)
Yesterday, during Hard Landing, the airstrike began after destroying just one tank, instead of three.
Is this something we know about? Is it reproduceable?
I can provide a video if necessary.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's also worth mentioning that you should only rebind them to "weird" keys, like the function keys, otherwise you're just running the risk of using an HJKL cheat, or whatever keys you use.
Everyone else plays on default FOV, so you should too. Just because I don't have the best accuracy, should I be allowed to install an aimbot? What about a bhop script if I'm not good at bhopping?
