It would be great if you added a 100% category for the Individual Levels leaderboard. In this category you would have to complete the level with every piece of scrap collected as fast as possible.
Relying on the live split timer to accuratelly time runs is not a good idea when there's a competition going on for money. So I recommend you start using https://slashinfty.github.io/yt-frame-timer/ or make an in game timer for the game @Stefano_Gaming
Also I think it's better if you change the timing rules so the time starts when the first level loads in because if the run starts when the play button is pressed the first level won't load in until the screen fully went to black.
I found a way of clipping through walls that can save a good amount of time on the boss fight This can be used on some other levels as well to save a bit of time.
There's no point in it if every level can be beaten in 1 second.
Okay so I've been doing some glitch hunting and when I was playing around with the possibility of clipping using saves I found this:
The first type of save clipping is pretty simple but with the second one I have no idea how or why it works. I tested some of my theories and I came out empty handed.
For some reason when you got out of bounds using the second type of clipping you can load your character back in when you go into certain areas, which most of the time will end up in falling into abyss and dying.
Because of the fact that the ai is more advanced in 1.0 the player isn't in the first place all the time which allows for more mushrooms to be farmed. Of course the advanced ai has its drawbacks for example it's really easy for the other racers to snipe the player with a shell or a bomb which would lose time but this can be avoided if you get good enough rng. So please if anyone still has a 1.0 copy of BCSK upload it here in this thread.
So a few months after BCSK released I found a gamebreaking glitch that can save multiple minutes off the wr run. The glitch is question allowes the player to possibly skip lapses on any of tracks in the game. I got this glitch exactly one time and I wasn't able to recreate it since, it doesn't help I didn't get it recorded as well so I'm gonna try to explain it as best as I can.
So to execute the glitch you first need to pick up a muchroom and use it right before doing the following (I'm not sure from what angle it has be done) : https://gyazo.com/c43dcb70ce3f5256449afff6f20e9447
I might have misremembered some things because of how long ago I discovered it but I'm 100% sure this glitch exists.
I'm gonna try to recreate it. I'll keep you updated here on this thread
This god gamer of a streamer is routing the blindfolded run for Sinister Squidward: https://www.twitch.tv/loogagoon
Go check it out!
100% isn't different from any% at all it's just an another timing method.
Could you please add the first stage to the individual levels leaderboard? Also there isn't really a difference between 'Casual' and 'Normal' so I recommend you change it to Any% and 'Nightmare' to Any% Nightmare.
The man the myth the legend did it again so mods please add a blindfolded category.
LooGagoon's blindfolded run:
@SethPime could you change the timing rule for individual chapters so the run ends when you collect the last 6 eggs?
Just a little skip I found a couple months ago (I wasn't able to reproduce it)
100% and 201% should be added and maybe it would be better if the "Theater" would be moved to the IL leaderboard.
I have an idea for a new category no revive% or something like that
