I've been thinking of Adding a sort of "100% no drumset" category, since the drums are horrible in this game, but other then that I can't think of any other interesting categories. I wouldn't want to flood the leaderboard with a bunch of random and uninterest categories, but I'll do some looking around because "Unlock All Stages" may be an interesting category, as long as we don't have to complete all 4 hours of the tutorial.
I've been kinda hesitant about making an IL leaderboard because, even though there would be a lot of cool IL strats, I'd rather do IGT for accuracy but getting rings lowers your IGT, so I'd want to do RTA but I'd that would be annoying for IL runs. What would you think would be better, purely for a second opinion on this.
Yeah you can press Jump a couple frames before collecting a gem from below (which is easier than it sounds) or by standing on a disappearing platform as it disappears. Those are the 2 that are currently in the run, but there are many more, like taking 2 hits of damage in the same frame Via Volcano and such.
World Record and my current run End Time upod pressing A after level 8, after the fanfare, and dismissing the "Clear" Text, and it would be preferable. Sorry for the Not-clear rule, I will update the rule when I actually wake up lol. :^)

You can't lose the game if you control both players. ?
A little while ago, I started learning the any% speedrun for this game, but got sidetracked and never finished learning it. One day, however, I was trying to unlock all the Bingo Battle levels, so I can play them with friends, and I realized that if I killed all of my Pikmin, I would still “Win” the game, because Player 2 would be awarded the win, and that would unlock the next level. So I thought it would be funny if I did runs of this meme run, since the fastest way to beat the level is by killing all of your Pikmin. I never posted it as a “WR Speedrun” since it wasn’t even an official category, but I’m curious to see if anyone would like to run this, or if the mods would want to add this as a category somehow. This isn’t anything super serious, it’s mostly just a meme category, but I wanted to try and submit it and see if it would get any traction. What do you think?
Sorry for the Delay! You can absolutely submit the beginning of your 100% run as an any% WR if you beat the any% time with that. You did technically beat any% is a Faster time, so no worries there. Otherwise, your run has been accepted. Sorry for not responding,I was not at home!
There hasn't been a united conversation about what exactly is "100%", but in my opinion, All Bakugan, All Cards, and All Achievements is pretty definitely part of 100%. There is no "XP cap" for upgrading the power for each Bakugan in the store, but I think owning every bakugan and then unlocking every elemental super move would suffice for that department. After the Story mode, there are more tournaments that are randomly generated, but i believe you unlock more medals for beating them, so that is a big point of concern for me, since the element of the tournaments are RNG based I believe. Any other thoughts?
Also, I am not a super mod, even though I took up a lot of this leaderboard since this Category was brought back to life as of recently, so I am not able to make you mod, as of right now.
I think a "100% w/o Drum Lessons" would sound a bit arbitrary tbh, since it Is part of this game that is needed to be completed to "100%", but what I think would be smart to do is to make it a Miscellaneous category, since Not everyone Has a Balance board and if they are crazy enough to want to run 100%, they could run it. But I honestly think 100% would have to require drum lessons, and hopefully you can get used to it by practicing your Frame-Perfect Drums in Wii Music?? Hopefully this is a neat work around for rn, since it Is technically part of 100%.
i don't know either lol, i'm the same boat, the only difference is I just run Pitch Perfect. I do know that completing lessons unlock both instruments and songs, but idk if that's the only way lol
