You can use Dolphin to practice running the game, but the leaderboard unfortunanely doesn´t allow any emulator runs. On console you can play until a 2:18 without footage tho due to it not being a top 10 time as long as you can provide proof of the igt with your console. There are really cheap capturing devices like video grabber that can help you running due to them being made for an A/V-Source. Another thing you can do would be to use your phone or a camera to record your run. Hope that i could help you.

In PAL you have to go to the right at the complete end because you otherwise spawn directly in the autoscroller.

Just a buy capture card and do a run. Even if it is bad. It´s your gameplay. And a speedrun of a game which counts the realtime without a timer?
For what do you want to use it for?
If you want to have a good time in glitchless, you need to learn some "complicated" exploits and have perfect movement for like 3-5 hours straight. (MP2) Also can you skip darksuit in this category which makes it also really hard to fight boostball guardian or perform early torvus for example. I find it tough. (And for phaaze: )
Glitchless just means.... a glitchless (any %/100% etc.) run.
Dyceron and i created some rules for Glitchless. Here they are:
Glitchless for the Metroid Prime Series is as follows:
- No OoB
- No BSJ's/Roll Jumps
- Items may be skipped as long as glitches aren't used
- Exploits (Dashing) and inbounds tricks are allowed
- You may skip a boss only if a glitch isn't used to do so (Boss = Health Bar)"

Hi! I have a request for a new category in the Metroid Prime 2: Echoes part of these forum. I really like to speed run this game without glitches very much but i cant hold up to people who are using any kind of glitches like the item loss skip, wallcrawl, early powerbombs etc. So i wish for a category for all prime games without glitches(any%). I hope that you can fulfill my request.
