Nevermind I figured it out...

Apparently this game actually has anti-piracy measures! if the game detects you pirating it then it throws blue eyes white dragons in EVERYONES decks! lol

I was playing on an old version of Visual boy advance which was the problem. After switching to bgb Kaiba tore up all Tristans fake Blue eyes ^ . ^

So since this game recently got an English translation I decided to start practicing speed running it for fun, However sometimes when I duel Tristan he will just randomly bust out a blue eyes and destroy me.

According to the wiki I thought Tristan's deck only consisted of the same 3 weak monsters. But at least 4 times now he's summoned a Blue eyes on me (once he summoned 2 within his first two turns)

Is this normal or could my rom be bugged? I can't seem to find anything online about this.
