Hey! I just bought a controller (not delivered yet) that has "Customized Turbo function (Windows only)" to start running. It is the 8Bitdo Sn30 Pro USB Gamepad. I've read that Turbo is (of course) banned in speedruns. Am I able to legitimately speedrun with this controller if i use an approved emulator? if you don'T use the turbo function of the pad you can use it without problems.

I wouldn't count on it, usually these things are non-negotiable but since it's only an optional feature for your particular controller if you're lucky I could maybe see the mods making an exception if you're able to show an input display on screen as an overlay next to your game feed in the video to prove the Turbo Feature isn't actually being used so they can properlly verify the run. If they go for it I'd reccomend RetroSpy for this.

Hey, turbo is not useful for the Terranigma Speedrun anyway (you lose time by using it). Nevertheless we decided to stick to the common RTA standard rules here on SR.com, means it's banned by default. If you use snes9x simply enable the input display and you'll be fine :)
