I noticed that in the older version of this game the portals are significantly faster, is there a way to get the faster portals on the latest version? I could be wrong though, I'm going to try and time the portals.
Final post haha, I have found that the new star animation adds about a second per portal, so not a tremendous amount but definitely adds up over the run.
Could be part of it, I think a good way to tell is to look at the world record time per level that the game actually shows vs yours to see how close you are to the world record for now.
Did you reach a decision on this? I'd be down for just adding up the in game times since navigating the menu and load times aren't really what we're trying to measure , you know?
Haven't made a decision yet, but definitely if there is a good amount of support we could make that the official measure. For sure don't want to change people's places on the leaderboard due to this, but probably a fairly easy solution compared to finding an old version of the game
Is it possible to create an autosplitter for this game? I'm not sure what engine it uses though.
