Hi! I'm sorry, I'm aware of how annoying this might be logistically, but I was wanted to know if there was any possibility of having emulator boards at any point. I know they wouldn't be able to compete against consoles on the main boards since they're timed RTA and computers have faster loads, but I was wondering if there was any possibility of a separate leaderboard for them. This. I've been getting a bit of practice in on emu as my only TV that'll work for Wii is quite terrible, and no thrift stores nearby allow any electronics beyond MAYBE speakers. Besides that, things like resetting and loading times are much much better on emu. It certainly should not be timed with console in any way, shape, or form. But it's complete non-existence for all this time has been a bummer.

Ah, I'm realizing that there was discussion about emulator boards in another thread, I'm really sorry about bringing up a repeat issue when you'd already come to a conclusion about it months ago. My capture card currently bugs out really hard when I try to record audio and I was wondering if there was something I could do that was more convenient for me.

Reading about the inaccuracies in the "Different Category Per Console" thread, along with the whole "if we have a separate board for this, then we have to potentially worry about making it fair" ordeal, I can understand why there isn't an emulator board.

Also just for reference, it is really easy to cheat on Wiis in particular. The difficulty with cheating in a game like this isn't the act of doing so, but the act of making it undetectable for moderators, which PC doesn't lend a particular advantage to.
