hi there! so i was watching the current wr run on normal mode and noticed it looked to be a bit faster with the animations, so i ended up pulling 2 other runs to compare the auto scroller section. in theory they should be pretty close to the same time... upon review the PC version is about 15 seconds faster.
here is the video i made up real quick. i lined them up to be on the first frame that the cart lands and is fully level. the fightcade co op video is a bit choppy. (i could record that level myself on fightcare if needed) but it starts at the same time as the others.
maybe a deeper dive can happen but i wanted to open this up for discussion and see if anyone has any thoughts
Hi, first off I'd like to say that I don't run this game and don't really intend to, but seeing this made me do some digging myself and it seems only the Normal Difficulty run has been speed up. The animations are clearly faster, and the autoscroller itself is much faster then normal. I put together a video comparing the runner's 3 submissions (easy,normal,hard) and it's clear that the normal run has been (intentionally or not) speed up significantly.
I am in no way accusing this person of cheating or doing this knowingly, but clearly this run is running too fast
The following video is not lined up perfectly, and there are some differences in the runs ( a death in one ) but the normal run is so much faster that it doesnt need to be lined up to see how much faster it is being run.
This might explain why the normal time posted is so much faster then the other runs in that category
Just to be clear, my intention was not to point fingers, or accuse anyone of anything. that pc version is legit in the sense that it was an official release, so its no fault to the runner at all. but in comparison, that version runs "normal" difficulty faster. im not trying to take away anyones "wr".
This might be nit picking a dead game, but just cause its not popular doesnt mean we shouldnt recognize that pc version on normal difficulty is faster.
do we separate and make a new category? do we just accept that pc is faster for normal so if you want to get a competitive time in normal mode then we gate keep by saying you need to buy the game from windows store and play on pc?

TL:DR - his normal PB is running almost 20% faster than his easy/hard runs.

I bought ACA NeoGeo Sengoku from the Microsoft Store on PC. The game is running too fast. I have been trying things on my graphics card control panel but just made things worse. So I went back to default settings and thought I would ask around for some help.

Don't know if this is the best place to ask for help with this but when I try to play any aca neogeo games on Windows 10 the game speeds up to an insane degree. It's like the game is in fast-forward. Does anyone know a fix?
aca neogeo games are sped up on windows 10 I've tried two aca neogeo games(metal slug and world heroes) and everything seems to be on fast forward. how do you fix this
I don't what this means to you lovely people, but the ACA Neo Geo had a problem with windows 10, I add the website so you can see for yourself
just an update, we made a separate board for the aca version as it indeed does run faster, and it was an official release.
