I speed run the Time Eater but I have run into the problem that because of my constant restarts I have been running out of lives so would I be able to use the infinite lives code for this?
It isn't allowed
You can set your lives to 99 before sessions using cheat engine or any other means, but during the run no cheats or code are allowed
When you notice that you need to restart, then leave the level instead and join it again. I am not sure if that works for bosses too but in stages when you just leave the level, then you will not lose a live and can join it again like nothing happened. But it will take longer then the normal restart
