120 2nd Half File (JP)

As of March 8th, 2021 this is the current fastest route for 120 Stars. Reroutes World 3 Bottom Path and Battle Belt in 120 Stars to save ~5 seconds. Battle Belt reroute requires grabbing the Comet Medal in Battle Belt S to save time.

With 9999 coins and star bits on both files, as well as a filled Bank Toad. No need to do PIS on 120 file.

File 1: 120 Stars for Green Stars.
File 2: 28 Stars file right before Fearsome Fleet used for partial Any% RTAs on the Puzzle Plank C Late route. File has 3000 starbits on it.

This save also has a banktoad with 9999 starbits.

242 Stars + 120 Stars + Any% Fearsome Fleet (NTSC-J)

File 2: empty for doing runs File 3: Set up for Green Stars with 9999 Coins collected to skip a Coin Textbox when collecting Coins. Save created with a PAL SMG2 game.

242 Stars with 9999 Main file + 120 Stars (NTSC-U)

The ultimate file for running green stars, which has 3 files ready to go with 120 stars, max coins, and max starbits. Files 3 and 1 (file 3 will need to be used first) have letters cleared, and talking to mailtoad will give 99 lives. IMPORTANT: File 1 has PIS performed during 120 and will trigger the cutscene in Bowser 3 if you do not attempt this skip again.

3x120 Stars (Chinese/SB4W)

Useful for running Greens on the fastest version, JPVC. Has 3 files with 120 stars ready to go for greens runs. Also has max star bits and coins.

3x120 Stars Max% (JP/SB4J)

Works on all 5 regions. Drag the file to the "riivolution" folder in your SD card (create the folder if needed). Enable the patch in Riivolution. Unlocks Luigi from the start of the game, no need to switch to him in the door. Note: Mario is unavailable in this hack. Credits to Galaxy Master for the code.

Always Luigi Hack

Fastest Consistent Route for Any% Without Bank. Does Hightail Falls S to consistently get 700 starbits before Honeybloom although it is still difficult to pull off. Skips the comet medals in Flip-Swap, Supermassive, and Gravity Gauntlet. Feeding the Flip-Swap Hungry Luma before Spin-Dig C and then doing cursor movement to Flip-Swap 1 saves ~0.2 seconds.

Any% (Restricted Bank) Hightail Falls S Route

Does Flip-Swap C and Lava Lair C, (2P only)

Does Sorbetti Skip

Recommended for runners going for top times only.

Green Stars Route

Contains 3 files with 120 stars, which can be useful for Green Stars runs.
Note: Does not have max star bits/coins.

Green Stars Save (JP)

Place the SB4E01 folder in a folder called "codes" on the root of the SD card and turn on SD cheats in gecko. Has infinite lives and position codes with 4 save slots. Press Z + B + D-Pad direction to save, and B + corresponding D-Pad direction to load.

NTSC-U Practice Codes

Inputs: Z + D-PAD_DOWN = Save Position to slot #1 Z + D-PAD_RIGHT = Save Position to slot #2 Z + D-PAD_UP = Teleport to Position from slot #1 Z + D-PAD_LEFT = Teleport to Position from slot #2.
