Maybe make BLJ a non-obsoleting variable for 130 star. If there are major differences, make it a sub-category. 2 separate 130 star categories is strange to see.
i also hate that there are 2 different 130 star categories, i'm still waiting till i can talk with kaze about that since no other rom hack and also not even the original sm64 has something like that.
I know. We don´t even know who added a BLJless category. In my Opinion the category shouldn´t be there since no rom hack or even the original game have a non-blj category. So i agree , but first we need to find out who added it and why , then we can discuss other stuff i guess
No Rom Hack has bljs intended but i´ve done it already , hope everything is fine now.
most romhacks know of the existance of BLJ and work around it, because the creator is unable to fix them. this one has BLJs in about every square inch of the map, so i thought it would make a huge difference in running this game. i think once the routes get more advanced, there will be a BLJ on about every other star.
For a TAS I would agree. But in real time it is very hard to implement a blj strat and actually save more than 10 seconds over no bljs. Off the top of my head the only major timesaves that involve bljs that have been done real time are prison star early and red tower skip.
