I think he was. Whenever you exit the course from any level, it goes to Cool, Cool Mountain then crashes. It doesn't go to the castle grounds.

He was using a diffrent version of the game. I've known Spaceman for a couple years now, and I know he would never cheat. His world records/PB's are well deserved.
