Instructions:

1. Press [Windows Key] and R to open Windows Run Menu.

2. Enter the command steam://open/console and run.

3. In the Steam Console, enter and run the command download_depot 872670 872671 <manifestID>. Enter the manifest of the version you wish to download into <manifestID>, found in the Main Branch Depot. It should start downloading the downpatch.

4. When Steam has finished downloading the downpatch, it will prompt you with "Depot download complete." To find the downpatch files, navigate to your Steam folder and go to Steam\steamapps\content\app_872670\depot_872671.

5. Browse to your local 5K game file. You can do this by right-clicking on SCP: 5K in your Steam library and pressing "Properties", going into "Installed Files", and pressing "Browse". Rename the current "WindowsNoEditor" file to keep the current patch.

6. Drag the new "WindowsNoEditor" folder under Steam\steamapps\content\app_872670\depot_872671 into the 5K folder.

7. Boot up the game through Steam. It should now be the downpatched version.

To revert back to current patch: Rename the downpatched "WindowsNoEditor" file and rename the current patch "WindowsNoEditor" file back to its original.
