I was wondering if a single level speedrun leaderboards would ever exist for this game. For example like how Wolf3d has a single level leaderboard and not just a full game or act leaderboard. I feel like this could be entirely possible due to the fact each level has an end screen with your time, the amount of secret areas you have discovered, and so on. This is a just thought I had and I was just wondering if this could possibly be a feature implemented into this game's leaderboard.

This would fit perfectly and probably more players would be interesed in speedrunning this game.

I think it would be fun to do, but it is hard to determine the rules, as weapons, ammo and health is passed on from the previous levels. Maybe dividing it into the different chapters would be a solution, as you get new loadout at the start. It would be very easy to add to the leaderboards.

I agree that it would encourage more people to start running (for example me) plus it could help the other categories by finding possible new skips/strats since runners would be practicing one level to its best. But I imagine that handling the rules on health or which weapon should or should not be used on each level would be kind of tricky as you guys say.
