New update coming very soon, completely new tools and such. How will the speedrun community be affected by this?

it depends on what will come with the new update, i dont really know what’s coming with the new update. also, any copies of doomspire that were made for speed running would be outdated

also if physics are changed, current runs might have to go to some sort of legacy category

Tools are the major thing being changed.

how the tools work? or just new tools?

A completely different set of brickbattle tools, they will work good unlike the current tools. All tricks with the tools will be much easier to do. They also have custom particle effects.

aw man, now the 100 kills categories are gonna be even worse to grind

hopefully they patch being invincible to rockets and becoming invisible after being shot by a rocket along with the slingshot and the superball doing inconsistent damage

I've been trying to get a 100 kill speedrun midair and people who are midair with me doesn't sound too bad lol

@Grump the invincible and the invisible glitches cant be patched, those are client sided. it only happens because their mom’s phone is really bad at playing roblox.

I'm pretty sure it is to do with ROBLOX's collisions as well

@Unstable_Truss That is a tool issue, the new tools eliminate that issue, I think 100 kills will actually be easier considering the new tools work MUCH better and have instant activation.

No obviously not, the tools will react instantly when you use them instead of having an annoying delay like the current ones.

I'm pretty sure the slow tools are due to ping because it doesn't happen to me when I have good wifi. Unless you are talking about the painfully slow rocket travel speed along with trowels taking two seconds to build the entire wall

if the wall instantly builds, that brings some interesting possibilities.
