I know Sourcenext is a Japanese based system, but is there a way to get rid of that Japanese scribbling during the FMVs? Is there a file I need to delete or change in the Sourcenext folder? This question also applies to RE1 & RE3 for the original versions on PC. Please help me, I can't stand looking at subtitles, be they in English or Japanese. Thanks!
The timer doesn’t run during the FMVs so we have no interest in altering them - you can just turn them off in the config if you don’t want to watch them (or just skip them)
If you are using the Rebirth patch then a config setup should launch whenever you open the game - there’s a checkbox for Movies which turns the FMVs on or off. Alternatively you can open the config file and change it there also.

Who cares about speed running? Why don’t people just enjoy playing the game, why do they have to get through a game quickly?
this is a speedrun website dude thats why that means this post is a waste of time also you can speedrun and still enjoy the game i dont see why that has to be seperate and 2 different things

As far as I know, there aren't any ways to outright remove the subtitles from the FMVs. The FMVs are rendered with the subtitles already added to the video, as it was for the original Sourcenext release.
With that being said, although people are more than happy to help with any issues you're having, being rude is not good form, so don't do that.
