Preparation: In order to allow some certain skips like the spike skips, maze skip and MK fight skip, you have to prepare ahead before starting your run. Once you do this, all future playthrough will have these skips unlocked for you.

----------------Spike and MK fight skip Just die 3 times for each of the minigames. And when you do your run, you can just die and skip it.

----------------Maze skip This one is a bit more complicated. The code for the first door you get are different for everyone. But once you get it, you can use it for all future runs. However, if you don't like the code you got, you can reroll by giving the demon the blue light again.

----------------The quest: First give Kett (Artist) some chips (from train station vending machine for 1 coin) Then return after and talk to Kett to get the flowers that he drops. Got to Red's treehouse to make the stone curse cure. The notes for it are on the table, and the ingredients are in the house. Bark from the tree and black mushrooms. Then use the potion brewer to make the cure. Go back to the artist place to give the cure to the candle statue. (This will not work if the candle is taken or blown) Once given, the candle man will give you the blue candle. Return to red's treehouse and into the basement. (Accessed by bolts from Rune by giving 2 runes) Talk to the demon and give him the candle and he will give you the code for the first door. The other 3 codes are found through spike puzzles. which are: 1682 5729 5732 I recommend saving before giving the blue candle for quick rerolls of the code for the first door.


Onto the actual speedrun routes and strats. I'm going to assume that you have watch at least one of either mine or Tegron's speedrun. If you haven't yet, please do so as it will save time for explanations.

-----------------------------Cafe Just spam lol. The real challenge of the game.

-----------------------------Lacie's house Just proceed normally to Lacie's bedroom. Once you have gone through all the dialogue. Quickly grab the red ribbon and notes and stuff from the desk. The set the alarm. Then go down stairs. Go to the phone and place the ribbon on it. Now here you have 2 options, the paint or the marker, which ever ones works for you. Go to the front door to place the symbol on it. Then go straight to Hiro, through either the garden or house, dialogue mash. After that go straight to sleep.

--------------------------------Dream 1 Not much to say here. Just some general movement optimisations at best you can do.

--------------------------------Lacie house Night Nothing too complicated here. Go straight to the phone and dial 999281#0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 • 0 # Say "My Bus is Late" Then straight to the bus. Then just spam through the dialogue.

-------------------------------------Dream 2 Exactly as the same as dream 1 Except there is a red item. It's faster to just ignore it and continue normally. After that get off the bus as fast as possible.

----------------------------Forest After getting off the bus and entering the forest. Touch the dead end then interact with the sign to fix it and move on. Rotate the first secret sign up then the second one right. Then enter the pathway to obtain the first rune. This will be needed later on. You can skip the next 2 signs as they are for the train station and not the gate. Rotate the next one down. Then the next on up. And go straight up to the Daylight Gates. To solve the puzzle fast. Use each lamp once except for the middle right. Go through the gate. Go behind the big mirror tree to get the second rune. Then go straight to Red's treehouse. You will be able to skip all spike minigames if you have done the preparations. Die as fast as possible. When you reach the house, enter it before talking to rune as this is faster. Saying yes is a bit faster, afterwards give him both runes to get the bolt cutters. Then go back into the house and interact with the carpet to unveil it. Use the bolt cutters and enter the basement. Push the box out of the way but not too much. Talk to the celled demon, Yes then No at the dialogue mash. Get the jar and give it to it, dialogue mash. Interact with the mirror and kick it, dialogue mash. After you finish talking, go up to the door and enter your code. You should have these codes if you've done the preparations. Just run through the hallways and enter the codes avoiding the numbered centre. As you exit you will enter the Lake area, just continue to the right.

-----------------------------LAKESIDE Grab the bucket and make your way to the shrine. Pick up the paddle and fill the bucket with water Then make you way to the docks to get the second paddle. Then go to the boat and use the water bucket. Then get on the boat. Getting on the boat without cleaning is faster. A long cutscene will play here. I recommend resting your hands a bit here or whatever. Then after you get off. Grab a lavender on your way to the door. And go to the moths, dialogue mash. Say that you will leave and give them the lavender. This will give you the doorknob the fastest. Go back to the door and place the doorknob on and use it. This will lead you to the facility. But before that.

----------------------------DREAM 3 Like previous dreams except there is a second door. Enter the door and you are tasked with getting a knife by your mother. When you enter the garage, there are multiple wardrobes. You have a timer until you find the knife. And then it plays an animation of you fainting. You get the knife at the end. However I recommend actually finding the knife as it is faster and saves 3 to 10 seconds. After giving the knife. Ignore the red item and go straight for the exit wardrobe.

----------------------------Facility Exit the cell. Open the cell second closest to the right. Move the box to push it in the cell. Get your items. Push the box in. Push more. Take the vent cover off then enter it. After that. It's another endurance mashing dialogue with Sai. After you enter the lab and finish dialogue. Go to the locked gate and interact with it then back to Sai Continue talking until you can exit. Next is the Dialogue with rune. After that, run all the way to the control room. Dialogue with Sai. Then to the fuse box. The fastest solution is to remove the 2 broken ones. Take the 15 and place it in the top left corner. (Note this will only work in 1.0.3 as higher versions will need all 4 slots to be filled) Then go straight to the elevator. BF3 Then All the way right into the house.

---------------------------------Miss Knives House. Move around to the corner. Then the biggest Dialogue Mash of the entire game. Into DREAM 4 Make your way quickly through door 3. Eat the bird, then straight to the exit saying yes. And back to MK HOUSE After the initial dialogue. Interact with Sai once and go to the exit. Go up stairs and talk to the spider. Dialogue mash. After going down, go back up to the painting lady. Take her eye out to start the chase. I suggest using as much diagonal movements to speed to the exit faster. After the chase, go back and grab the mirror. Interact with the mirror at any point to unblack it. Then go straight to the bathroom to get the bedroom key. Go downstairs and use the key on the bedroom. Grab the cold compress and unlock the box with the code 018. Go to the library, up the stairs and interact with the lamp next to the balcony. This will give you the second eye, (Another eye is in the kitchen, but that is slower.) Unlock the door, and use the cold compress on the water. Take the jars and out to the halls of paintings. Use the jars on the full colour ones and the use the powder on the water to get paint. Unveil the clothed object and use the paint on it. This will give you the sketchbook. Go back to MK painting without eyes and use the eyes on it. Enter the painting and grab the knife. Interact with the knife at any point to unblack it. Go to the kitchen and stir the pot, say no then use knife on pot. Go to the fire place and light it with fire. Say yes, and continue without Sai. After a bit of dialogue, you will fight MK. Just die and skip it if you've done the preparations.

--------------------------Ending Dialogue mash. Go right to the door and enter. Dialogue Dialogue. Interact with pot. Dialogue Interact with door, say yes. Dialogue. Time ends after Sai says "See Ya" text ends.
