July2022/Glitchless Rules Update

Hello there! It’s been a while since our June update so it’s definitely time for our July updates. This will be a combined post involving July updates along with rule updates for Glitchless & 100%.

Your July Updates Are As Follows:

-Nun Massacre: Definitive Edition Leaderboard Is Live! You can find a link via the Nun Massacre Sub Games or by searching Nun Massacre on SRC: https://www.speedrun.com/nun_massacre_definitive_edition

-Categories Are Live For Each Scenario Including Nun, Circus, Backrooms & Factory.

-Glitchless & 100% Rules Are Updated To Reflect The Recent Findings In Full Runs. More Details Are Listed Down Below.

Glitchless & 100% Rules Update:

Effective Immediately All Runs Submitted Under The Glitchless & 100% Categories Are Required To Be Capped At 60 FPS Or Lower. This Rule Was Set In Place From Recent Findings Involving Glitchless Runs Where The Clock Segment Would Be Affected By High FPS And Resulting In Faster Clock Speeds.

Example:

In Order To Have The Most Fair And Equal Leaderboards As We Possibly Can, We’ve Limited The FPS To 60 When Playing Glitchless & 100% So Runs Are Less Hardware Dependent. If Any More Finds Are Made You’ll Be Notified Via A News Update And Rules Are Always Subject To Change As More Technical Finds Appear.
