Earlier today, Twitch has announced that they are "implementing a 100 hour storage limit for Highlights & Uploads starting 4/19." There is a 2 month grace period for people with highlights on their channel to be able to download their highlights or export their highlights to YouTube. It is strongly encouraged that individuals do either one of those two options.
To prevent such things from happening in the future, and because Twitch is known to have a variable framerate which is inconsistent for retimes, we have made the executive decision to ban the use of Twitch highlights as video proof for the time being. Highlights exported to YouTube will continue to be allowed as they will not be at risk of deletion. We encourage runners to record their runs locally and upload the local recording to YouTube, if possible. Runs currently on the boards will not be effected in any way.
The rules tab has already been updated with this information. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them on the forums or in our Discord server. Thank you.
