I cant speak for the other runner but im personally on 1.0, the differences are very minor, the extra damage taken on the spiky pillars that were unavoidable made it make most sense for me since death warps are such a big tool in the game.
Great, thank you for the reply. 1.0 it is. Perhaps something should be added to the rules, for consistency? Not a huge deal of course.
i would if it needed it, the differences between versions is so minor, if someone wants to use one version over another id say let them be, its not really an issue. if the game got an update that was significantly effecting the gameplay i would obviously deal with that appropriately but as it stands its really not an issue.
it may be worth having the change log available easier here though as opposed to finding it in the itch.io's comment section
Personally I was doing 1.1(just the version that itch.io's client downloaded). I also don't see a big issue in using either version. Not sure what the mentioned gap is, if it can change the route it might be worth looking into that to save even more time :D
I also added the changelog in the guides, although here's a repost in case someone looks in this thread instead of there:
1.1 changelog:
- Music for Haunted Woods and Western Banks has been switched and is now correct.
- Music for Haunted Woods now correctly plays when entering the area.
- Gap in the collision detection near the Western Banks key has been filled.
- The 2 spiky pillars near the Western Banks key have been tweaked, so they are now avoidable.
- The EXE file now has a custom Legend of Xenia icon.
yeah i dont know the gap either. saw the guide, i wouldve done it myself had i known weather or not to do it in guides, resources or just a stickied forum post.
ended up adding subcategories for versions. only one of them is available on mac and in one of the categories the version would make a sizable difference.
