So, Windows 95 timing would look very different due to the fast forward feature. For full runs, not a problem, since you use real time, but for single levels, IGT doesn't exactly work since the way FF works is by making IGT wind down extremely fast. I posted this a few days ago on an older thread but I think this warrants its own thread. Also, Windows 95 is an explicit option for full game submissions, while single levels just has "PC". I'm not an expert on screen fading but this particular level has the screen with the OK/cancel button disappearing at 09:26 and last input pressed at 11:37 (IGT 3 seconds) and screen fading at 11:50, so 145 frames = 2 s 416.66 ms? Or if speedruns tend to round up, then just 3s? Or just ignore all this and continue to use IGT despite the RT taking less than 3 seconds?
Also, would it be worth having a category for DOS at not-high end settings? I am looking for games I can run on native DOS and my computer cannot handle the high performance setting at all, but then I cannot use the fade to black to shorten IGT so it's not worth it.
