Is it worth the race playing the latest version of the 2017 Super Famicom, played directly on the Super Famicom Video Game?

As far as I'm concerned, with the versions being effectively identical, you can use the official re-release cartridge or the ROM of either version.

I did all my runs on the 2017 cart.
