Recently I've tried to do multiple speedruns for this game, but every time i record (with OBS) OBS is incredibly laggy and the frame rate of video is about 1 frame every 6 seconds. Does anyone know why?
Hello buddy. There could be a number of reasons for this. Without knowing what hardware you are using it could be low hardware specs or bad settings in OBS.
Do you have a Nvidea graphics card by any chance? That has a built in screen recorder which I (and many others) use for footage.
If you do not have a Nvidea GPU then I am sure there is an AMD alternative and failing that then look up a video on optimum OBS settings for recording game footage.
Maybe you changed OBS settings without realising. It could be numerous things that are causing the issue. I would recommend using Nvidea Shadowplay which is included with a Nvidea GPU. Press ALT + Z on your keyboard to bring up the GeForce Experience panel and configure your recording settings from there. You can record gameplay at any resolution with as little as a 1% performance hit. If you are not sure on any of this or the settings then look up how to use Nvidea Shadowplay. Hopefully this information helps.
