At least half of the speed runs registered on this page are invalid as they dont follow the rules. The timer does not start when the game is loaded but instead when the person respawns. this effects the run because enemies do not reset, when you respawn. So what happens in these fake runs is they the player gets to the ends and either kills or turns the enemies away then dies, starts the timer, so they can have an easier and quicker run

It's been a while since I've speedran this game, but I can tell you that you're probably wrong. The main reason we started on new loads was not to manipulate the game, but to get around the horrendous loading times in this game. It honestly took around 2 minutes to load a completely new game. The loads I loaded from were saved at the very start of a very new load. It's also possible to get to the end using completely new runs, and in some cases it was harder to use a load. The people who speedrun this game are too stupid to manipulate the bots anyways.
